ks10-e (official release), Letter from Bro. who scanned it! Newer version with BOE LTRs

while an earlier version was made available privately the time has come to 'progress'.. conscious class and ex both strongly adhere to not keeping things 'hidden' in regards to wts publications, talks and documents which are circulated in order to maintain it's position.. another wonderful poster (who has yet to give me permission to name) has 'reduced' and 'bookmarked' the first full copy link i was given by our 'winner'.. in this newest and final 'clean' copy link you find two other additions besides the reduction/bookmarking..... the brother who uploaded the entire book wishes all to have a copy that includes both boe ltrs (pre-ks ltr and spiral binding ltr).

also another development has occurred.... the brother responsible for this book being brought into light and put forth for public consumption and discussion has requested i post this letter explaining to 'us' (jwn posters/global audience) and 'them' (wts of penn & ny).. i ask you give attention to his words/ experiences as he is representative of a newly emerging demographic within the conscious class.

I know I'm knew at this but please allow me to interject a thought here:

Eggnog: '.....billions will be adversely affected at the revleation of the Lord Jesus' (nowhere in the Bible). That borders on speculation! An old saying is 'speculation is the mother of all evil.'

Now you seem like a pretty savvy person & you had my attention & had me goin until you quoted the WTS' above words. Over the years she has been sooo quilty of 'going beyond the things that are written' that she reeks of speculation. Seems to me that you still indeed are a soldier of one of the 'mothers' of all evil'. Sorry!

it's ok.... to post here on the internet, on jwn, and other jw related forums.. first of all, as we all know, the governing body doesn't provide a forum for jw's to "associate" with their brothers and sisters.

i'm just guessing, and i could be wrong, that its harder to control the flock when they have free access to information and each other.

damn electricity and the technology it brings..... anyway, i realize that for anyone leaving, or for practicing jw's, to post is a nervous thing.

It is not fear or nervousness that keeps me from posting here as it is concern for loved ones in the organization. For a lack of a better term, I have been labeled at times as a 'patriarch' if you will. I am in my mid sixties, been in the 'truth' for 40+ years. My sweetheart of a wife & I have more than our share of kids who are adults with their families (grandchildren) who also are in the 'truth'. My wife shares the same disappointments toward the organization that I have. Unfortunately our children while they may be aware of issues in the organization are quick to write them off and are inclined to give the leadership the benefit of the doubt (for the time being). My wife & I know better!

Many have commented that I am at a stage of my life with the experience that I have, that you would think I would be more visible in the congregation (serving as an elder once again, having more parts, shepherding the flock and the like). Frankly, I find it quite difficult to stomach what I am doing as a M.S. what with the lies, deception, hypocrisy and such that I've seen over the years. Because there are those who wonder, especially among the body, why I don't do more, there is as a result an air of suspision perhaps of my loyalty. That doesn't worry me much as I know how to bullsh*t my way with them. I hope you can begin to see my dilemma. I have obligations to a number of loved ones not to mention long time friends, but especially to my family. Don't get me wrong, I none the less still stand up for what I believe in and for what many of you believe in. I've done my share of going 'toe to toe' and 'nose to nose' with the c.o. and elders over matters that are dear to me.

I have been visiting the various forums such as this one for a number of years now. It has been like therapy for me and for that I thank all of you. I think you cover a wide range of topics rather nicely. This affords me an opportunity to for example thank "Blondie" for her hard work in critiquing the Watchtower study articles. Keep up the good work! I soo look forward to them! I look forward to expressing my appreciation to many more of you as time goes on. Thank you Jeff for raising this topic and allowing me to explain my situation. My guess is there are literally thousands like my wife and myself who have to fly below the 'radar' of the society. It is not as though we lead double lives or that we have a double standard. But as you know there is indeed a price to pay. I know well the price Raymond Franz & his wife paid. I think often of their mistreatment by the society. This is a JW GoneBad saying thank you.

I too am posting for the first time. I've been visiting these boards for a number of years as an observer and am impressed. Currently am serving as a M.S. and have served as an elder in the past, but by choice am no longer. To quote Bro. Johnson (and well put by the way).... 'they devalue the sacrifice of so many' is no news to me. I have seen over the years many an individuals' sacrifice 'devalued' for no good reason. I truly believe that this talk about the new elder book and exposing the faults of the authors is what is going to bring many more like myself out of the wood work and force the sociey and its' leadership to answer for their mistreatment of the flock. All the more reason to keep this issue at the very front. As was said in an earlier post...'they have made many to bleed, it is time for the WTS to do a little bleeding of their own'!

I too would like to know who of the GB made the comment comparing our faithful ones who have grown old in the organization to Isrealite murmurers. He especially should answer for that insensitive comment. Thank you Yknot for the elder book link. I just down loaded, hole punched it and put it in a three ring binder. All I need now is my personal invite and I.D. name badge to attend the school. I won't hold my breath!
